The City of Ocala seeks competitive proposals from qualified firms interested in providing Casualty Actuarial Services for the City of Ocala. This RFP provides prospective proposers with sufficient information to enable them to prepare and submit proposals for consideration by the City of Ocala, to satisfy the needs, as outlined, in the scope of services. Proposers are strongly encouraged to carefully read the entire Request for Proposal and its attachments.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS). As part of the selection process, firms must first demonstrate they are qualified to participate in the solicitation process by clearly showing they meet the minimum qualification requirements set forth herein. Proposals submitted by firms must meet the minimum qualifications set forth in this Section in order to be considered:
The proposer shall include qualifications and experience of the firm/individual(s) providing the services. The submission must include:
(a) Certification Requirement. Bidder must process a FCAS and a MAAA to submit a bid for this project.
(b) Experience Requirement. Bidder must possess five (5) years’ experience in the actuarial services for government in the State of Florida.
(c) Current/past performance in similar activities. Provide a list of all Florida public agencies for which your company has provided similar services over the last five (5) years. Include in your list:
(1) Client (contact person name, title, full address, current telephone number, fax number, and email of a reference within each agency).
(2) Period of contract.
(3) Dollar value of contract.
(4) Services offered and results.
