BACKGROUND
1. The City of Ocala requires the services of an experienced contractor to provide the installation of roofing for three (3) overlook structures located at the City of Ocala Wetlands Park, as well as the installation of a bird netting system for the open pavilion. All four (4) structures in this Project are located at the City of Ocala Wetlands (2105 NW 21st Street). See Exhibit B- Locations Map. The Project includes, but is not limited to: installation of plywood, timber supports, aluminum panels, and the bird netting system. Contractor will be responsible for the disposition of all the debris, backfilling, leveling, and sodding.
2. Contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, labor, and equipment (in good working condition) to complete the installation of the roofing and bird netting system.
3. MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING AND SITE VISIT: Refer to the listing for the pre-bid meeting date, time, and location. Attendees are required to submit a bid for this project.

EXPERIENCE AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
1. Licensing Requirement: Bidder must be licensed as a General Contractor in the State of Florida to submit a bid for this Project.
2. Experience Requirement: Bidder must possess five (5) years of experience in providing roofing services.
3. The Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to conform to the labor standards and employment requirements set forth in the Bid Documents. All work shall be performed under the supervision of a qualified, competent foreman or supervisor.

PRICING AND AWARD
1. Bids will be received on a lump sum basis. Lump sum amount must include all direct and indirect costs to complete the project.
2. Award will be made to the lowest bidder meeting all requirements outlined herein.
3. AMOUNTS DUE TO THE CITY. Contractor must be current and remain current in all obligations due to the City during the performance of services under the Agreement. Payments to Contractor may be offset by any delinquent amounts due to the City or fees and/or charges owed to the City.
